Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
I have 2 laptops connected and using the router. I recently just brought a desktop that has has a wireless N card and my router is a G. My internet speed on the desktop right now isnt getting the full speed i am suppose to get. I am suppose to get 54mps but im only getting i think 32 or 34 mps? The router isnt far and my laptop connects fine to it. I havent up dated my firmware since 2004.
As you said , try upgrading your routers firmware, but the better fix would be for a n router with a n card you will have a proper synchronisation and good speed.. or else the speed will vary, for a g router and n card..
