Question about Gateway Computers & Internet
Caps that are bulging is a good sign of a soon to be d.o.a motherboard, but other things can also cause the problem,I would check the power supply to see if all the voltages are correct, then check to see if the ram is seated all the way,and if need be reseat them, then check the video card to se if it is seated all the way in(only if you have video card being used)and not onboard video.also check to see that everything is clean and free of dust.check and see if the cpu thermal paste is still good,if it isnt then replace it.You can also try resetting the bios by unplugging the power supply,(remove the coin battery)if you can not find which jumper to clear the cmos(bios),and wait about 30 sec. to 1 min..then put it back in and plug back in and turn on.If the caps are leaking or have a brownish or whitish substance on top of them then its a good possibility that its dead.

Go to the Intel website and navigate to the support area, where you'll usually find the drivers. Or you can also go to driverguide.com.

I've found an Asus P4SD i865GV online:
It seems to have the same CPU socket, FSB and RAM types, and the chipset is almost the same model. I'd say this would work.
If you can't get that, just make sure to get a motherboard with the following qualities:
Front side bus (FSB): 800, 533, and 400 MHz
RAM type: Dual Channel DDR 400 MHz (PC3200), 333 MHz (PC2700), and 266 MHz (PC2100).
CPU socket: 478
