My elderly mother claims her Bush 6690D TV is a digital set but it does not recieve anything other than the standard
5 channels.
She has asked me to get and fit a digibox so she can get the Freeview channels but apparently this is only if your TV
is analog?
Does anyone know how to work out whether a TV is analog or digital? I think a Bush 6690D TV sounds as if it is digital as it has a D in the model number. The other numbers on the back are AK19 010 B210500412. Maybe it is simply a
case of twiddling with the receiver knobs rather than fitting a digibox?
Can anyone help?
Hi, i have a bush digital television and the freeview did work for a while but has just stopped working (for no reason) i have fitted a freeview digital box to it and it works through that. So if you cant change the mode to digital then just fit the box.
I have a Bush 6690D and I can confirm that it does have a built-in digital decoder for terrestrial signals (Freeview).
Have you checked whether ***********'s TV is set to digital mode ? The "Mode" button on the remote cycles between analog, digital and AV inputs.
