SOURCE: New maintenance kit

Hi Did you run up the developer unit? Menu button down to Other then to Service and press enter on developer and switch off and turn on will run for a while. In the service menu after you run up the dev unit you may have a option in there to press enter on the MK Symbol.
Cheers

SOURCE: XEROX Phaser 8560 - Maintenance Kit

They sell a lot of maintenance kits that way.I worked for a major Tampa are copier company for 10 years and they used every part until it just quit. However, you should line up a maintenance kit at the ready.Sometimes a counter will shut down the copier when it gets to the point where they want it to stop.

Why does my HP printer say there is no maintenance cartridge?

When replacing expendable parts like the maintenance cartridge you have to go through the printer internal menu and reset the maintenance count. There is a combination to get to this menu on the printer. You might be about to access the menu through the web interface for the printer. I don't recall this combo but attached is the manual for this printer.

HOW I WILL GO IN SERVICE MODE OF A PRINTER

Clearing the Maintenance Count and Service Message: HP LaserJets servicepin.jpg
If the display panel on your HP LaserJet reads "Perform Printer Maintenance", "Perform User Maintenance", "Maintenance Kit Low", "Maintenance Kit Very Low", or anything along those lines it means your printer needs a preventative maintenance kit, which includes a fuser and various rollers. Once you have installed the maintenance kit the message will only go away if you clear the maintenance count.

Z6100 banding verticle in black

When you banding vertical do you mean Across paper feed direction OR With paper feed direction?
If its across the feed direction the chances are thje issue remains with the individual printhead, Print out a quality maintenance print to find which Printhead is not working as well as wanted, then replace ( or clean using the plotters control panel under image maintenance.
Errors along the feed direction can be down to Software/ Main Pca /

Z6100 says maintenance cartridge almost full ( ihad just replaced it) Is there a reset?

There is a proper procedure to follow, under the "Ink" ikon on the Control Panel. You must follow this procedure or the machine will not know that you replaced it. If you did follow this procedure, I have found that if you remove all inks, printheads and the maintenance kit "properly", shut it down and then restart the printer, it will reboot all information about the supplies.

Error code 07.009.42 what should I do?

07,009.42 Error indicates that the printhead was unable to tilt normally on its axis.

This is most likely caused by a cracked drum maintenance camshaft. The drum maintenance camshaft is driven by the process drive motor on the right side of the printer. It raises and lowers the maintenance kit against the drum to oil and clean the drum. The camshaft has 2 lobes on it. These lobes crack over time and cause several different error conditions. The camshaft part # 401100380 is only about US$20 from Xerox but can be very difficult to replace. Also look at the pivot plate assembly. Slide out the drum maintenance kit. If you look inside the cavity the plate that the maintenance kit sits on is called the pivot plate. If the drum maintenance pivot plate is white plastic it should also be replaced with the new style black plastic plate. This requires removing the process drive gears assembly. Note that reinstalling the assembly requires the gears to be accurately timed. This repair should only be performed by a qualified technician.
