Clip Art in Microsoft Word 2007

When I insert clip art in a Word document, a blank box will appear. If I click on the corner, the clip are shows up and when I print, the clip art is there. However, it does not appear when I am creating my document.

Any suggestions.

In Word 2007 when I "Insert" clip art, the clip art window appears on the right but remains blank and the application "hangs" permanently. I have reinstalled Office and updated patches to no avail.

When we insert clip art in word, it permently hangs. This is because we have display clip art from web checked. When we search we see clip art from Microsoft. I think it is displaying art from Microsofts web site but for some reason, will not allow you to insert to a word doc from the web. If you try, Word hangs. You have to manually download it from the clip art section on Microsofts web site. Any way to make the insert process work from web content within Word?

How do you create animation in word 2007

Hello,

You normally can't "create" animation in MS Word, however, you INSERT an animated picture file into your document. Here are the steps below to insert an animated clip art image into your document:

  • Place the insertion point in your document where you'd like to have the animated graphic appear.
  • Click on the INSERT Group Tab located at the top of the screen.
  • Choose ClipArt (Note: if you have an animation file present on your computer, then you would select INSERT PICTURE)

sandyjd_0.jpg

  • In the Clip Art Gallery, make sure that in the SEARCH IN: box that you have ALL COLLECTIONS chosen.
  • Then in the RESULTS SHOULD BE: box select only MOVIES.

After you insert the graphic into Word, you may not see the animation until you save it as a Web Page and then Open it in your Internet Browser.

I hope this answered you question. Please do not hesitate to write again for further clarification.

Bought Print Workshop 2007 LE online and down loaded it, but when I try to get clip art it tells me I need to insert disk. I don't have a disk!!! Am I going to have to spend more $ for a disk. It cost...

Try re-downloading the software (it should be free to re-download since you have already paid for it). Try to get clip art again. when it says insert disk, it should show a browse button where you can map to the file you just downloaded. if that doesn't work, run the installation file and do a custom install. You should be able to install the clip art through there.

Open your Word 2007
  1. Take a look on the top menu that says Home,Insert, Page Layout.....etc
  2. Click "insert".
  3. From left to right the 6th option will give you "Clip Art".
  4. Click it and on the extreme right the Clip Art column will open
Good Luck!

My power point froze while loading clip art

The Office XP and 2003 applications (powerpoint, word, excel, etc) may freeze or hang when searching for clip art. If repairing your installation does not resolve this issue, read on.

By default, microsoft assumes that when you search for clip art not only do you want to search your hard drive you also want to connect to the internet and grab related images from office.microsoft.com. Privacy issues aside, this can cause your computer to hang if the office web site is down or there are many online images returned from the search. Worst yet, it seams these images are not cached. Thus the same search will re-download all the images over and over and over again.

You can disable this feature by navigating to insert > picture > clip art and clicking on the drop-down selection box that says "Search all collections". There is a checked-box label "web". Uncheck it.

Using Word and inserting an object in document how do i print the document with the object showing ---confused

When i insert an object, clip art, excel spreadsheet. I always click outside of the object and revert back to WORD. If the object is in focus, being used, the object will be picked up by the printer as the only thing to print.

Just click outside of the object and go back to the WORD document.

Word 2003 not printing text, but prints everything when a clip art is added

I solved it! Aint no stopping me now!!!

This may not be a permanent solution, but it is one that will remedy the problem if you are caught in a bind!

Change the color of your document to the next color lighter than black but dark enough to print as black. Other colors do print.

Perhaps it is a problem with the black ink and/or cartridge.

My 6 page document printing normal with the exception that I changed it from the default black setting to the next lighter black color.

Now who will pay me for this tip? No charge, just kidding!
