Question about Washing Machines
Pump not working, will not empty water
It may be as simple as a blocked pipe. Check the outlet under the sink it may be full of hair/fluff etc. If you can disconnect the outflow pipe from the u-bend under the sink, first check that the end of the outflow pipe is not blocked, then check the u-bend for blockages. If these are both clear then the pump itself may have a blockage. If you know how to get to the pump, then ask someone to help you take the outflow pipe away from the pump so you can check the pump and pipe for blockages. Be prepared for plenty of gushing water if you remove the pipe away from the pump, and have a pot or something ready under the sink for when you check the pipe at that end. I hope this helps.
