My dual xdma6630 won't recognize my ipod. It just keeps flashing

The radio used to operate the ipod and now suddenly it won't recognize it's an ipod and it only flashes "reading". I haven't changed a thing. The ipod is a 5th generation click wheel unit.

It may be a glitch with the iPod. Try resetting it following these directions from the Apple web site:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1320

Also, inspect the 66 jack on the bottom of your iPod for any debris and carefully clean with a plastic utensil as needed.

SOURCE: Ipod nano and ipod video 5th generation

First off, simply press the center and menu buttons at the same time to reset the iPod video. That is the common way to fix a frozen iPod.

In regards to the Nano, sounds like the scroll wheel is defective. We would recommend replacing the scroll wheel if a reset does not do the trick.

SOURCE: my ipod 5th generation wont turn on

The only thing that someone with some soldering experience can do is crack the ipod open and resolder the hold switch. Sometimes this switch becomes unsecured and will give the symptoms your ipod has. Short of that, you'll have to send it in for service.

SOURCE: What is the best way to reset an ipod nano 5th

The best way to reset this device is to just flip on then off the HOLD switch, then right after doing that just hold in the middle button in the ipod click wheel and MENU at the same time. Hold them down together for at least 5 seconds and it will reset the device back to normal state.

Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up, it is extremely important to me. I would be forever grateful if you could do so. If you need more help on this question please just respond to my answer here and I will get right back to you.

Thanks
Tim

IPod Touch won't be read

Wont read what ?

Sometimes, you might find that your computer does not read that the iPod is connected to the USB port, preventing the synchronization of new files.

There are several potential causes for this lack of hardware recognition and many steps can be taken to troubleshoot the causes.

Reset your iPod's internal software using the key combination appropriate for your model. Apple's support documentation details how to do this for each available model.

(See Resources)

Install all iTunes software updates and restart your computer.

Connect your iPod directly to a USB port on the computer.

Do not attach through a keyboard port or USB hub.

These might not provide enough power to operate the iPod.

Connect the iPod to a secondary USB port.

If the iPod is recognized now, the original USB port might be damaged.

Connect the iPod using a secondary iPod USB cable.

If the iPod is recognized now, the original USB cable might be damaged and should be replaced.

Restore the iPod using a computer that can read it as a last resort. Connect the iPod to another computer, launch iTunes and select "Restore" from the iPod information screen.

This will erase all data and restore default settings.

Contact Apple support or visit an Apple store for further help if your iPod still cannot be seen. An advanced hardware issue might be present and a warranty hardware replacement might be indicated.

Hope this helps

My ipod touch suddenly won't connect to my wi fi even though it has worked before.

You could be trying to connect to a secured site & your your ipod can't see it. Did you change your router setting?, Reset it somehow?, did you press the little black button in the back of the router?

My iphone is hanged its shows apple logo only, hw can i solved this problem without loosing my all data, like my videos, contacts, pictures, pls help me out

Try pressing and holding both the POWER & the HOME button at the same time for around 3 to 10 seconds until it turns OFF. Then turn it back on again.

If it still won't go past the Apple logo, use tinyumbrella to Fix Recovery or to Exit out of Recovery. Download tinyumbrella using the links below: for Mac for PC (Windows)

Update tinyumbrella first if it tells you that there's newer version available.

NOTE: Your computer must be able to recognize your iPhone before you can use tinyumbrella to fix it. If your computer could not recognize your iPhone, you first need to put it to DFU mode. To learn more about DFU mode, CLICK HERE.

If those things still don't work, you'll have no other choice but to restore. Again, your computer must be able to recognize your iPhone before you can restore it using iTunes. Put it to DFU mode if your computer won't recognize it.

Reason red light turns on on dual xdma6630 receiver

I had this problem and had to do a reset. (remove faceplate, turn on the power to aux for the car, press the 'reset' button with a pin or paper-clip for about 7 seconds, release. Put the faceplate back on and power on. I'd say it's a computer bug of some sort, at least in my case - the reset did the trick.

No sound at all after a few years of working fine...

the problem you are facing in the iPod is same as my one. it generally happens due to rough usage of iPod and if you accidentally hear songs while sleeping and if you pull any of the wires and put your weight on your ipod, these things happen.
so the solution is just get it to a service provider near you. as he can assist you with best solution.
