You need to put a battery in the mouse. Locate the latch the holds the battery case, unlatch the case and add the battery. There is a USB transceiver that comes with the mouse, connect this transceiver to your computer USB port and the driver may load automatically. If however your are prompted to put the driver CD, there are usually a small CD that comes with the Mouse. Put the CD on you computer CD-ROM drive and install the driver. The mouse will be ready for use when these steps are completed.

Try finding an icon in your keyboard that looks like a touchpad (Usually between F1 to F12). Press that together with the Fn key (Usually found side by side with Ctrl).
