Make sure the evaporator fan is running, and that it's rotating correctly. You may have to melt the ice off the evaporator first.

Make sure the coil is clean, and that the drain line is clear. If only the first section of evaporator piping is freezing up, you very likely have a low charge, or possibly a restricted drier, liquid line, or metering device.

Check your pressures, temperatures, superheat, and subcooling.

In this link could find to check the "Air Conditioning and Refrigeration System Evaluation Guide" (without test).

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: true tssu 72-18 is freezing

did you make sure that you installed the end of the coil wire into the evaporator, it should go in about 8 inches at least, if you did that and have the correct thermostat, the make sure your fans are working. Miles

I got a true tssu-27 that won't cool what would be the problem with this unit?

Many times the air circulation across the condenser is the problem. Take a look at the condenser and make sure that the condenser fan is running and there isn't dirt or grease blocking air movement. There is also the obvious like a compressor that's not running or an iced up cooling coil. Is the compressor hot? Maybe an additional description would help. Are the fans inside the cabinet running? Good luck hope this helps.

Why is the unit freezing? It is a TRUE TSSU-60-16.

Turn down the temp and move produce item closer to the front. The air exits the evaporator at around 28 degrees. Possible you need a thermostat.

TSSU4812 refregirator making clicking sound and not cooling

Without a compressor analizer you will need to check the winding
resistance. or you can just cross your fingers and hope the relay
and start capacitor are the problem. Sounds like the condenser coil was plugged so you could possibly have a locked up compresor.I doubt it is low on refrigerant charge.

Water leaking into fridge

Open the back of the unit. There you will see a drain line. Use something to blow through it and clear blockage. If the drain is clear the drain pan may be rusted through. :)
