Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner
I have a Forest Creek Grand Lodge and the back AC thermostat display is giving me an E1 error code.
Hi By E1 error it means
Loss of communication between the Single Zone LCD thermostat and the module board. LCD will cycle between E1 error.
Check the link for regular maintenance Of the LCD thermostat.
If it doesn't help then you have to replace the LCD thermostat.

I ran across the same problem and found the kit to expensive. I gutted the parts added a transformer, contactor and thermostat. Unit worked great and cost about half the price.

The error code could mean anything from dirty air filters to a damaged room thermistor, a safety connected to your thermostat that detects room temperature.
