The only alert that comes close to being a wake up alarm is the Time alert function. Press Mode and then select Training. Select Training Options > Alerts > Time/Dist Alerts. In the Time Alert field, set the alert to Repeat (instead of Once or Off). Enter the time that you want the alert to sound in the Alert At field. Then press Mode repeatedly to exit the menu.

It depends on which mail program you are using. You should be able to disable the alert right in the panel of management of that mail program. Usually you might see a small icon in the system tray which is the bar at the bottom right corner of the screen for that mail program and you can right click on that and choose options or something and disable the alert. Give me more details and I will let you know the steps.

The following instructions are for the T289, which is very similar to the T250. It is possible they will work to turn off your beeps.

Alert Tones

The Alert Tones (beeps) on the Talkabout radios are set at a fixed volume

level and cannot be lowered. However, Alert Tones can be disabled. When

Alert Tones are disabled, the radio will receive messages at the volume

setting you've selected, but you will not hear beeps when you press control

buttons.

Disabling Alert Tones:

1. Hold down the Monitor button while you turn radio on.

2. To re-activate Alert Tones, turn the radio off, then on again while holding
the Monitor button down.

Tools > Options > Notification Settings > alerts and Messages > Untick everthing under "Show messages about" and "show alerts from" Tools > Options > Advanced disable "Automatically disable Extras"

Go to tools menu>Audio & ring tones>Alert type>Message alert tones. Choose silent and click set. This will disable all email and voicemail alert tones.

This is the highlight alert. To disable, press menu button > look for highlight alert option > choose disable

When you are in Mobile Email and logged into your mail service, under OPTIONS there is an option to change EMAIL ALERTS. At least it is for Yahoo. I am assuming it would be the same or similar for other email services.
