Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I have a acer m3201 desktop...i have no screen @ boot..nor do i hear the motherboard beeps @boot...swaped out power supply and put in a new video card..still nothing.. replaced Hd thinking it was bad..which i still think it is..cant feel disk spinning @ boot. put a new hd in.. now i can hear the Hd spinning but still no screen.. any help would b greatly appreciated!! -Drew
Check the RAM module/s, try reseating them first, if it still does not boot up the remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendlt computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you.

The beeps that you are hearing are messages created by the POST (Power On Self Test) to indicate that something is wrong. If you know your motherboard type it is possible to find the documentation explaining what 3 beeps mean.
Because we don't know the motherboard type (At least for now) let's use the common sense. Did you verify that the power supply is properly connected to the drive? Can you confirm that removing the second Hard drive it boot again ok? In some type of BIOS 3 beeps means memory problem. By accident did you touch the memory? Are all the ribbon cables well plugged in?
