Mic is not working

If your mic is not working at all, check to see if it is in the windows device manager and that it is working properly. To get to device manager, right click computer and click manage. In the sidebar click device manager. If it is not working properly, try re-installing the drivers and if that fails, replace the hardware for the mic(or buy a usb headset/mic)

1. If it is not connected properly

3. The sound drivers are not set up properly.

These are the possible remedies for the above mentioned causes:

1. Try to check if the mic is connected properly. If it was improperly connected, it won't work at all.
2. Some microphone requires battery so try to check this out. Older versions of microphones do not work with the new ones.
3. Set up the sound card properly.

Hi - either the cable is not ALL the way in the connector ( double check) or the cabels damaged after install ( common) you need to repalce the entire screen on a ds lite as the cable is not detachable.
as for the mic - you will need some PCB rework on the motherboard to rectify that I'm afraid, contact us at www.dsdoctor.co.uk if you need any more help :-)

Go on mic. configuration and select on microphone use from configuration mic. name and test the mic. On test mic not works mic,is posible to need a driver for mic and need download and install the driver.

may be problem in lose wire connection ,
check that first.
may be there is a problem in mic from where u talk,
open the mic cover smoothly,check all the wires are joint if not join it properlt,
still problem take off ur mic and check with speaker or with other equpiment like ur mobile headset,if mic is ok then put back, if not do *
join wires again properly,next
open joiner where the speaker and mic are joined,may be there are some wire disconnection join it ,if properly joined,
* then there is a problem in mic
replace the mic with same type of mie or u can use the mic of ur mobile head set or find it someware ,
join it ploperly.

mic may not be working due to following reasons.

1. driver not installed.
2. proper settings of mic not selected under control pannel.
3. many times mike is left muted in the advanced settings.
4. mic not connected properly.
5. mic is malfunctioning

• check the sound adapter on the system-device manager, check if it is properly working or else
  
• install sound driver/ motherborad driver (if built-in)
• check the mic volume set it to highest possible volume.
• use other/external mic device/s, it can be the internal mic built in has the problem
