My sound i changed operating system, from vista to xp and i lost my sound

Dear, if you have changed operating system from vista to XP, u also need to install drivers which are for XP. You can download drivers from HP website by entering your Laptop model number.

check not to be mute ...from volume icon in tray system ...if you have a much complicated problem and you know it ..let me know ...if you changed the operating system ex from vista to Xp and go5t no sound after ...look for the driver fit for xp ..and install (reinstall ) the sound driver ..this might fix all the issues anyway ..assuming that for vista usually it get auto ...

Genuine vista changed to xp?


just stick with vista, its faster, better and smarter
and yes webcam isnt compatible with xp some other drivers too like sound and video.

it is tuff now but give it few days and you get used
to it and the more you use it the more you like it
besided vista or windows 95 its only an operating
system and its just a tool to use your applications

to go to xp, buy xp license for about $100 and install it.

Choose windows xp as operating system and download the drivers... install it... it would be fixed..

Sound is not comming


Hi,
I have the same problem with toshiba laptop's because they are branded to vista and my client's want XP. Simply put back Vista.

Windows vista drivers are not supporting for windows Xp.Better to u take sound drivers from nearest Toshiba showroom or service center.
