Please try if a reset to default settings is solving the problem. To do this press and hold all 4 keys below the display while turning on the printer.
You may also check whether you have the latest firmware installed on your printer @ www.dascom.com

Hi, the printer seems to have a problem with the horizontal movement of the print head carriage. Turn of the printer and move the carriage by hand to check if there is an area where it can only be moved too hard. If yes, clean the carriage shaft from dirt, etc.

The service error 6500 refers to "other hardware error". This error results from printer hardware failure & nothing much a user can do except replacing the malfunctioning hardware. 6500 is generally logic board error code. If the printer is under warranty, you better ask for replacement.
