Line error on caller id

My phone says Line Error on the caller id. it also says low bettery. I changed the battery and replaced it with a brand new one. i know the 9 volt square battery is good cause i put my tongue to it and got a shock. i have unplugged the phone lines and line to the electrical outlet. i still can not fix the line error message and i need the caller id to work. The rest of the features work, only caller id does not. please help in a hurry!

Wizthere are a very small capacitor in the board that produce low battery mesege when it get damage, but you gona need a tech to repair your phone there are another problem in your phone its not a seting problem...good luck
