Question about Ovens
Can anyone tell me, if I unscrew the old element for the grill will the connectors pull through so I can attach the new element, or do I have to remove the cooker from the unit and go in through the back? Thank You
Hello...The wires should pull thru...But be careful not to let them drop back in...If they do....you will have to go in thru the rear to retrieve them and that will be a hassle...when you replace the element..do it one wire at a time if possible but DO NOT let the wires drop back in...Let me know...I hope this was helpful....PEACE.....

SOURCE: cleaning above the grill element
I would not advise you to remove the element unless you feel competent to do so.
Best thing to do is to put the grill full on and let all the fat and grease burn itself off.
you will not hurt anything by doing this.
Make sure you have the griil door open and your house door.
Plz rate my solution.

hi, what you will probably find is that the grill over time has got grease on it and other contaminents from food you have cooked in the past the best thing to do is turn the grill on full and let the smoke burn out open windows etc as it will stink the whole place out it may take a while to get hot but just wait leave it on full and you should find it will burn off all the grease etc and then it will stop smoking.
If you turn it on full and then you get nothing happen after about 10min then turn it off and you would then need to think about getting the element replaced.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
