If it runs Windows 7, then click Start-->Control Panel. Then, in the search field in the upper-right-hand corner, type in the word power, and hit enter on the keyboard. In the results, click Change power-saving settings.On the next window, on the left-hand side, click Change when the computer sleeps. Click the dropdown by where it says "put the computer to sleep:" and choose "Never" Then click "Save changes."
