Constant beeping,won't turn on

I lost power for a short time yesterday.When I went to power up my pc, my moniter will not turn on. From inside the case there is a constant beeping. Everything is plugged into a surge protector.Is my moniter fried or what? I tried another outlet with the same results. Please help. Thanks, Keith

it is fried you need a new moniter

What is the beep pattern?
beeeeeeeep, beep,beep beeeeeep etc.
