Question about Toshiba MD9DM1 9 in. TV/DVD Combo
After repluging into an alternate receptacle and pushing the on/off button (on the front or the remote) about 60-100 times it will come on...but only after I have plugged into an alternate receptacle. After I'm finished watching and turn it off, I am able to turn it right back on. However, after it sits overnight I am back to the same problem. Sometimes it will turn on after the 3rd or 10th try (a rare occassion). Once on, all is fine. I have experienced this problem approximately one month. Any suggestions? Is it worth having repaired? TV was mfg. Oct. 2002 and I've had it since mid 2003. Thanks for your help or suggestions. I love having a TV on my kitchen counter to watch as I cook, etc. Gayle
This is a common problem and if you can find an honest repair person(HEHEHELOL)They can easyly find a bad B+ capcitor in the 5 or 9 volt line in the power supply. good Luck
