I think I damaged the display cable trying to resolve a keyborad problem.
The disply does not display frequencies. Does anyone know if parts are available any where. I am in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Do a google search for GRE america store. They have parts for your radio. Their GRE 295 is the same (different in name only) as your pro 95. I think they are in Belmont shores here in the Los Angeles area. Hope this helps.

For a full reset, turn the scanner off and then power it back on while holding the 2 and 9 keys. CLEAr will appear on the display. NOTE: this will clear all frequencies and any other information that you have programmed into the scanner.
To clear/erase a single channel just enter frequency 0.0
You need to Reset the display,
Turn off the Scanner, wait 10 seconds then turn it back on,
Now Insert a pointed object, such as a straightened paper clip, into the reset hole on the left side of the scanner above the PWR DC 9V jack.and hold it for 5 seconds.
The display should return to normal operation..
Note this will not erase the frequencies in the scanner it will reset the display processor.. Let me know how it goes.. :-)
