When it will come time to decide on the proper VST cubase software, in order to going to obtain the possibility to choose from the neighborhood variety of versions. That can you decide what is best for want to consider this really is you're going to need. The Cubase VST3.o Machintosh came in 1996. Permits up to 32 tracks. Has lots of added features that any composer will doubtless use. Has been one challenge with it limiting memory but this was soon corrected with a patch.

I am having a problem getting sound out of a program called cubase 5

In cubase go to "Devices", there select "Device Setup", in the Device Setup windows go to "VST Audio System", on the top right you will see the "ASIO Driver" drop down menu, click it and select your sound card from the list. Also take a look into VST Connections.

Hi i can't get my m-audio oxygen 8 minni key bord to make sound when i plug it in to my proo tools 8 m-powered essential can you please explain to me how it works

Oxygen 8 is a MIDI keyboard only.It does not produce any sound of it's own.
It opperates with instrument software that either plays as a standalone(a self contained program)or as a virtual instrument(VST,DXi)in a Digital Audio Workstaion(DAW).Sonar,Cubase, and Ableton are examples of DAWs.

I can not get my bluesnow ball microphone to connect with my cubase studio 5

How to use USB device like a USB microphone, or USB guitar Cable in CubaseThis was a frustrating problem for me and I found most forums did not really helpAfter hours of annoyance I finally figured it out and it's a very easy and quick fix.1.Download free ASIO4ALL 2.8 here http://download.chip.eu/en/ASIO4ALL-2.8_108174.html and then restart cubase2.Click Devices and Open Device Setup3Click Vst Audiobay and Change the Master ASIO Driver to ASIO4ALL v24.Underneath Vst AudioBay Click ASIO4ALL and Click Control Panelhighlight All devices you wish to use and Enable them.5.Still in Device Setup hit VST Inputs and check to make sure all Devices are there6.Exit Device Setup and under the Devices open VST connectionsClick add bus, and Add Busses. Your Sound Device should be the first Bus that pulls upand the other busses will automatically be whatever the USB Devices you enabled were.7.Last thing and very important, when you open up a new Audio track Right click where it shows Stereo in. Your usb devices will start at stereo in 2 and depending on how many you enabled go up in numbers from there. In my particular case I have a Blue Snowball usb mic as my first Device (stereo 2)and a Usb Guitar Cable interface as my second device (stereo 3)*If you would like to hear and test your sound prior to playback simply click the monitor button and unclick it at playback. That simple, there you go.This will work, takes and takes less than a minute.

0404 installed but cubase vst 5.1 will not load it stalls when loading vb-1. I had the same problem with an auditgy card any ideas on how to fix the problem? Geoff

vb-1 is a cubase virtual instrument this is where cubase was stalling, When i uninstalled cubase i went into the vst plugin folder and saw the folder vb-1 [virtual bass] I read the text file within and it told me to copy the dll files within into the active vst plugin folder. when i re installed cubase all was well. I have been using cubase for years and did not have this problem until i installed the e-mu 0404 pci card, or the audigy card
