Question about HP Compaq Presario SR1330NX (PP161AA) PC Desktop
We thought that the computer died, so we brought it to The Geek Squad so that they could get the info off of the motherboard and put it on a disc. There were no repairs done on the computer, but when we got it home, we just tried to turn it on, and it actually worked. However, about 3 weeks later, the power went out at the house while the computer was on and now it won't turn on again. It was connected to a safe power strip that still works. Any ideas?
If the LED light is blinking when you turn it on the you need a new power supply cord. Take your system back to have a new power suply cord put on it will run you about 60 to 100 dollars for it. But if you are going to add more memory, graphics and sound card, your best bet is to get the 80 dollar one. And if you plan on having it installed it will run you 40 dollars unless you have the gift of gab and act like you know what wrong and get a discount, lol.
