Prizmo TV no universal remote codes work. I called RC Willey (where I purchased the Prizmo TV) to get a replacement remote for my Prizmo 19" TV. Customer service finally gave me a number for Red Rock Sourcing 1-702-252-5049. Red Rock took my Prizmo TV model number and they apologized for any inconvience. I told them no universal remote codes work for the Prizmo TV. Red Rock Sourcing is sending me a free replacement Prizmo remote by Fed-Ex. I hope this helps you.
I recently bought a used LCT2060 that had no remote. I figured my
comcast cable remote would work without a problem but it didn't. So 3
universal remotes later I found my solution...a radio shack
universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your
xbox360, playstation and pc. The price on sale was a mere 12.97, not bad
if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai
was 11676. Take care...
I understand that you already have 'universal' remotes but the link below refers to Philips brand remotes that may access the settings you now need:
I can't say how responsive Philips is today but it might be worthwhile to email them with the model numbers of your set and the remotes offered above to see if they will let you kow if either of those will access the adjustment settings you need.
I wish the makers of those aftermarket remotes would introduce some honesty into their spiel by calling their NON-universal remotes 'multibrand' instead.
I have a half-dozen so-called universal remotes in my junk drawer, including even a 'learning remote' that still doesn't program with the original.
I would start by trying other codes on the universal remote. Sometimes codes will only work part of the remote such as the numbers or channels but not volume. Your motorola cable remote sounds like it may only need a good cleaning. sometimes when you take remotes apart it will look like somthing got spilt in it. I would start there first.
Buy a Harmony Remote. I got a 520 - works great programs easy. There isn't any way you'll get the Comcast Remote to work. Had the Comcast technician here for 75 minutes trying. I wanted him to give up after 20, but he insisted he could get it. I think he tried every concievable codes to no avail.
I had the same problem trying to program my satellite remote to work with the ILO tv. I found that the emerson codes DO work. Yes local cable remotes will work as long as you have the code and the brand is getting more popular. The code that worked with both cable companys, Charter and DirecTv was 10171 I believe. You can find it under the Emerson codes. Hope this was helpful.
