Most likely it is clogged vent and also check for outside vent
Best way is visual check and check for any faulty component and parts and check all thermostats and sensors and look for clogged vent or any damaged or rusty or cracked components and use step by step deduction method for trouble shooting

My dryer does not dry clothes as fast as it used to - does this mean it is saying goodbye? It is a WTA 3500 vented dryer and is about 12 years old.

No, it might just mean your venting is stopped up with lent. Take the 4" hose off the back of the dryer and take a look up into to venting. If it is all stopped up, you should clean it out all the way through and your dryer just might say "hello" again.

Why does my bosch dryer wta 2910 only blow cold air?

If the exhaust vent tubes have never been removed and thoroughly cleaned in years this will cause the sensor to keep the heat off in your dryer. If clean the moister sensor is at fault

I have an axxis not drying and code F:03 comes up

Most likely your wall vent is restricted. Unhook dryer from wall vent and pull away from wall. If you don't get code your wall vent needs to be cleaned.

If unit still gives code sensor is either bad or theres a restrictions inside machine, likely in the blower wheel hosing. Air flow when running should be strong coming out of vent. many times strength of a blow dryer.

How far should the dryer vent be from the wall to the dryer?

No, you do not want the dryer vent crushed at all. Go to Home Depot and find a 4 inch adjustable 90 or something along that line. The problem will be that your clothes will dry for alittle while and then you will stat noticing longer and longer dry times

I need advice on dryer for my kitchen.

This isn't an add its two different units that I have installed and are both condensation dryers. Which in my opinion is better for your needs and lacking venting.....LG and Miele also have 15 cycle so now the decision is what your needs and Budget. Prices range from 700-1500 but well worth the money. Bosch Axxis Condensation Dryer (model: WTMC8320US) you can machine-dry clothes without venting hot, moist air (or indeed any air at all). The Axxis Condensation Clothes Dryer condenses the moisture in the hot air to water and releases it through the water the need for ducting and a blower motor to help expel hot air. Ventless dryers make installation easy, fast, and very cost effective. And since little heat is lost when the air passes through the condensing chamber, it takes very little energy to raise the temperature back to optimal drying levels, thereby saving you energy. The Bosch Axxis ventless dryer features the unique DUO TRONIC system with 11 auto dry cycles that tailor the drying cycle to your clothing. And Bosch's exclusive DUO TRONIC system combines two moisture and three temperature sensors to automatically deliver precision drying. This machine virtually operates at the touch of a button to prevent over drying and damage to your clothes. With the stacking unit I think this is your best option due to keeping moisture, and later mold problems due too condensation. Bosch tumble dryer

I've sorted mine this morning. First, disconnect from the mains - VERY important! Pull out the metal condenser unit at the bottom, and behind it, there's a small hatch in the bottom to the reservoir. This can get gunked up with water, and is very difficult to clean - HOWEVER - I've found a really easy way of cleaning it. I've got a VAX carpet washer with a hose attachment, and I simply sucked all the water out using that. If you don't own a carpet cleaner maybe borrow one. I did this this morning, and my tumble-dryer's still running happily after an hour! It is possible to clean it out without vacuum, but it takes a LOT longer, and the vacuum of the cleaner pulls out gunk that is hard to access. Another place where gunk collects is behind that hatch right at the back - there's a tube up to the right. I pulled out quite a long chunk of lint. However, that wasn't the solution on it's own, I still had to clean out the reservoir as above.
