Just got the Asus Crosshair II Formula motherboard, AMD 9950 BE cpu & 8 gigs of 6400 ram. Slapped the entire setup together made sure that everything was done correctly and tried to power up the system. Inititally the system stayed on about 5 secs, and then just started cycling. Called Asus tech support and the guy I spoke to said that it sounded like a grounding issue. Told me to put electrical tape over the brass studs coming off the case and then retry. Did that and there is no significant change. Please, I need to have this system up and running before tomorrow morning, so any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
