Question about Welding Tools
Have a 96 Grand Cherokee LTD 8 cyl, 170,000 mi., Until recently it had stalled on occaision but always restarted. Last week it began not idling. It would idle at 800-1000 then begin to lope dropping to 600, then 400 then200 and a stall. Turning the key I can hear the fuel pump pressurize. Replaced filter but it is original pump though I dont feel thats the problem. Today it was rainy and it wouldn't start. Seem as though it is flooded. Is there an external temp sensor ti control fuel mix at ignition or could a bad o2 sensor cause this? Any suggestions
Take the dist.cap off and spray with w/d 40 and see if that solves the problem. And when was the last time the cap was changed.
