Picture is not straight , has a curve in it now? What could be the cause of picture being like that?

This is the conversion IC's that are doing this and it is common for all projection tv's to have to get these IC's replaced
to have a tech come out will cost aproximately $400

Curved, blurry picture on RCA projection screen tv


Thats usually caused by the STK730-130 IC which is located on the Convergence power supply board. Replacing that may solve the issue. You can get the STK730-130 at www.tvrepairworld.com under the Integrated Circuit catagory.

RCA P52755BA 52 inch tv looks 3D


You have a problem with convergence and all you may need to do is replace a fuse. Look up convergence for your tv model and hopefully you will get an answer as to where the fuse is located and how to replace it. Very common for RCA tv's

red, green, and blue lines curve across the top of tv is cause by defective convergence STK IC or you have open resistor at convergence section. if you have defective RGB Color vertical ramp probably you have defective STK IC..

it can be replaced with a t0220 stile case dioded 220k ohm go to nte look up and do a search on the rca part #moz-screenshot.jpg 259638 search the web for the part.

I have the same tv. Had repair man come to my home in late april. Said it is the power convergence board. $225 for parts and labor I was told. Bad thing is part was supposed to arrive mid-may,then mid-june and now mid-july. He say's part is on back order. I'm actually going to contact RCA soon to find out if this is true. This seems to be a common problem with this particular T.V
