Question about Televison & Video
My 1-year-old Panasonic SA-BT230 blu-ray player/home theater system is now unable to turn on. Every time I try to turn it on, it displays "F61" and shuts itself off immediately. It was doing this sporadically for about a week, but over the last two nights it has done this constantly. Please help!

F61 error codes could either be IC501 or the regulator (IC502) in the power supply section.
For reference, pls view these two (2) posts here and here of similar concern on other models.
Other possibilities are:
1. fan not turning;
2. cold solder;
3. looses connections;
4. one of the other components/systems hooked up to the power supply is causing a fault (tuner, disc player).
Hope this be of additional help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
