Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I had the power cord tested. There is current (power) going through the cord. The printer won't turn on. What now? We have tried using a different outlet; holding down the on/off button for 10 sec.; I have been online trying to find troubleshooting info in owner's manual. No luck. Is there a fuse or something inside the printer itself?
This is due to the Power supply depending what country you are in i can offer you the part number but you will only be able to buy this part from a canon service company like myself, but im in the uk.
If the power supply does work work it will be down to the main board. if you had a service engineer out he would test the power supply to see if it was working to work out what part he needs.
power supply: HY7-2921-000
hope this helps
