This and many rca models need a special kind of solder and paste to correct the tuner soldering and some other spots that need this kind of solder that withstands heat better and will hold longer
hope this helps

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

A brand and model would be helpful. However if you have some knowledge on TV's you could try replacing the Jungle IC first. This usually controls the AV inputs on a standard CRT. Probable cause, Static on the Video line. Good Luck. Jus004

VID1 showing unusable signal

If you have been using Vid1 with your DVD and have NOT changed it, make sure that the connection has not come loose, just a slight jarring can cause the problem.

2) You might also want to clean the contacts with "contact cleaner" available from a Electronics store.

3) Try a DVD that is a known "good" DVD in your DVD player, if that works, well you know...
