Homemaker 5kg dryer cant locate heating reset button

Most dryers have sensors that fail, and can not be reset. These need to be replaced. They are used to prevent fires and fail primarily from build-up of lint and heat. Make and model numbers are essential in solving any appliance repair issue.

Homemaker hmwm 6000 cannot find a replacement belt

The Homemaker machine you have turns up little helpful information when searched. If all you need is a belt, you should bring the broken / worn belt (and all parts if broken in several pieces) so that it can be measured to determine the proper length and width, number of ribs, depth, etc. when you go to an appliance store or even autparts store (I have no idea what your belt looks like so I can't suggest one over the other). Many times, these machines have a spring-loaded pulley that is used to reduce slipping as the belt stretches / wears. This makes it possible to use a belt that is "close" length.

Wascomat dryer error codes

Check the following link: http://www.laundrynation.com/manuals/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/wascomat_dryer_selecta_control_programming_manual.pdf
On page 13 it identifies the E 08 error as overheating air (inlet or outlet). Chances are, it is the outlet that has gotten gunked up from lint or other material. Pull the vent tube off, vacuum out lint traps, clean the outlet tube, reset the machine. If the dryer is linked with other dryers on a multiple-link vent system, cleaning the vent lines may be necessary to avoid the problem.

I am in Perth WA and I need a fan belt for my washing machine as it snapped my washing machine is a Homemaker HMWM8000. I would like to know where I can purchase the belt and the price. Thank you,

Hi, I have the same problem. I rang KMart who advised they don't stock washing machines anymore but gave me the manufacturer's number which is 1300 366 155. I rang them and they said it is probably a generic belt which you could purchase from most repair shops, but you can purchase them through Homemaker. They were going to charge me $20 and it would take 7-10 working days to deliver. I am trying to source locally (Albury, NSW) as it may be cheaper if it's generic.
Hope this helps.

Hi, i have a homebrand dryer. Model: TD50-89S. Without asking first,my son transferred washing to dryer. Unfortunately, there was alot of white fluff all over washing and he assumed the dryer could take...

Your duct work is probably clogged with the fluff, which will not allow the air to flow though like it should. When that happens, the heat builds up on the cabinet and the heat sensor shuts down the heat. Its an easy fix, it this is the case. Just remove the duct from the dryer, clean it out, clean out the fluff from the dryer duct connection, then go outside and inspect the outside dryer vent for clogs. Make sure the flapper is working on the outside vent as well. Good luck!

Homemaker Dryer

You should have a warranty for this. Check with the store that sold it and see if they service what they sell.
