Did the 1st card ever work? (i.e. is the camera new to you). After many uses, the memory cards need to be reformatted (thru your Setup menu).

Post the make and model of the cards and we can check to see if they're compatible w/ your camera.

the memory card need formatting regularly, but we usually not do that. for longer use we have to format it regularly. your problem relates to this matter or your card may be fall down or damaged by any means. but as you said when you incert new memory card there is a same message it means there is some prolem with camera not with memory card.

so you have to go to nikon shop.
