I feel your frustration! Most all tv's share similar features, but
access varies with mfr & age. Some sets have an individual channel add and erase system as well as an auto-program
method.Others offer only one way to memorize. In your case,
analyze how to erase channels and thus learn to memorize!
If you need more help, please let me know in exact detail the steps you are taking......T.

How do I add the HD channels picked up my HD antenna to the master channel list on my Visio TV?

Hello, with the set on, press the menu button, move the cursor down till the "Tuner" section is hi-lighted, click on it. Then the first selection is "Tuner Mode" click on it, the choose "Antenna" click on it. Then move to the "Auto Channel Scan" and click on it, and let it set all your channels. when done, just exit menu and change channels as desired. you can go to page 39 in your manual for these instructions: Tuner Mode
Select Cable or Antenna depending
upon which equipment you have
attached to the DTV / TV Input.
Auto Channel Search
Automatically search for TV channels
that are available in your area. Be
sure to first select the correct tuner
mode above. The TV will search for
analog and digital channels. When the
search is done, press EXIT to begin
watching your programs. thanks, Terry

Why won't my tl2020 model receive any air

Check first in the menu it is set to Air and not CATV or cable./

The signal may not be strong enough for it to pickup on search.

Try to direct enter a known channel that should be there with the remote to see if it gets it or not. If it does you can direct enter and manually add all known channels one at a time in the menu.

Will not find digital tv stations

Hi,

I'll be glad to assist you in locating the digital channels in the TV.
Make sure that the Cable or Antenna Input is connected to the TV. The Cable and Antenna input can be connected to the VHF/UHF Input on the TV. The TV can search for the channels only if the VHF/UHF/CABLE input is connected to the TV. If you're connecting the Cable box or the Satellite Receiver to the Video or HDMI inputs on the TV, then it is not require to auto program the TV. Here, the auto program may be required in the cable box.
To Auto Program the TV, select the Manual Channel Search option from the Menu option and then select the CABLE, AIR or Digital Add-On option depends on the connection. The Digital Add-On option adds any new digital channels that are found to the Channel Scan Database.
This should resolve the issue. Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance.
Thanks for contacting FixYa.

I have got a new Toshiba Regza I have tuned it in but don't seem to have got all the channels can u help

you will need first to configure the antenna sources where you want to program channels. and then you can add channel through your remote control. to add channels in the channel memory, first press MENU and open the set up menu and then highlight installation and press enter. a new set of installation menu icons will appear on the screen. open the terrestrial menu highlight channel add, and then press enter. the list of channel program from the antenna source that you select will appear on the screen. to add now a channels to the channel memory, highlight unchecked box next to the channel number you want to add, and then press enter to check the box.to save new settings highlight done and press enter.

I have the box installed and on. Now what do I do to get the local stations on my TV

What box - satellite/cable/digital-to-analog converter? This tv has a digital (ATSC) tuner built in. So if you are looking for OTA channels, use antennaweb.org or tvfool.com to find out what direction to point your antenna and what antenna you need. Then connect the antenna's coax cable to your TV. Antennaweb is very conservative and assumes an outdoor antenna. tvfool.com will list several more channels and the different antennas that are needed for various distances between your location and the station transmitters.

If you are sharing one antenna between several tvs or tv and other devices, you may need an amplifier in addition to the splitter. (Unfortunately, these can get damaged by surges as well. I've lost certain channels after a lightning strike turned the amp into a filter for one part of the RF signal spectrum.)

Once you have the antenna connected and pointing in the direction of the desired station, you will need to scan for channels. If this is the first time the tv is set up, you will be prompted for menu language, the input type and then asked if you want the TV to auto-scan for channels. Otherwise, hit Menu, use the left and right arrows to get to the Channels menu option and press the + button in the center of the arrow keys. Next use the up and down arrows to set the incoming signal (if needed) - the item is labeled Cable and is a Yes/No (again press + to select item and to enter the change). Continue down to the Auto-program and let that run. You can add/remove channels from the resulting listing with the Channel Skip/Add option just below Auto-program.

I hope this helps.

Dont know how to do a channel scan on my samsung 2333hd t.v

Using the Color buttons on the Remote with the Channel List.
• Red (Antenna): Switches to Air or Cable.
• Green (Zoom): Enlarges or shrinks a channel number.
• Yellow (Select): Selects multiple channel lists.
• TOOLS (Option): Displays the Add(or Delete), Add to Favorite(or Delete from Favorite),
Timer Viewing, Channel Name Edit, and Auto Program menus..

Auto Program
The TV automatically cycles through all of the available channels and stores them in memory.
In rare cases, "Auto program" may miss a few channels due to weak signals and the channels may
not be added to the channel memory.
Air
Cable
Auto
MENU → arrow up, arrow down→enter → arrow up, arrow down→enter →arrow up, arrow down →enter →arrow up, arrow down, arrow left , arrow right →enter → MENU,EXIT.

Hope this helps. I have the owners manual on file.

Can't seem to add HD channels to Mitsubishi WS-65513

You need to run an external antenna feed to the air DTV input jack, bottom left. You can use your loop out if you already have an antenna connected to your antenna A input jack. Create a DTV device, then run your antenna setup for DTV.

Television only locates 7 channels????!!!!!

Hi there!
If you cannot receive all channels it may be a fault with the antenna or the tuner may be faulty. If you have a VCR, you can tune that into the TV first and then tune the VCR to see if you then receive all channels. If so, use the VCR position on the TV to view and select or change channels on the VCR only. Good Luck,JUS004
