Question about Saws
Runs backwards slow and hums?
What they meant I believe is "polarity" and in that if the switch or motor windings are not wired incorrectly the motor will act like that. The armature and field are not designed to run in reversse. I would check to ensure they are wired to mfrs. code. get me an exact model and brand and I will try and find you a wiring schematic

The parity is switch. which means its positive and negatives are switched.
