Question about Apple Powerbook G4 17" 1.67 GHz SuperDrive Mac Notebook
Hi Gerard, You probably can but it's not a method I would recommend unless the two computers are identical.
On the Target computer, start it up while holding down the T key on the keyboard. It should start up very quickly and give you a blue screem with a large FireWire symbol floating around. Now take a suitable FW cable and connect the two computers together. Afdter a moment you should see the target cpomputer'sd HD appear on the opther's desktop. It is now acting like an external drive.
See what happens if you try to copy the OS over. It may work but then again it may not.
You may found you will have more success if you use CarbonCopy Cloner on the source machine. You can theyn clone the OS across.
