The eject button is just above the JVC logo on the display panel.
When you press eject and if it displays "NO EJECT", then it is locked. Press and hold CD and Power (ATT) for more than two seconds.

SOURCE: CD WONT EJECT PIN HOLE

If it's trying to eject you may need to use a small screwwdriver to lift up on the CD. This works when mine hangs up. If it's not trying to eject at all, then the little motor on the ejecting mechanism may have failed or come off track. I had to replace the original CD player about a year ago because of this. That's why I have the JVC now, and it seems that CD's started hanging up from day one with this radio.

SOURCE: JVC detachable face with auxillary input

how is the reception on AM ?- if the antenna is the problem you won't get any reception on AM !!!! If you can get AM on two or more stations the antenna is not your problem- if you get AM reception and don't get FM the problem is the fm tuner in your Honda radio( usually it would need several solder joints redressed)- we repair these factory radios -Merle840@aol.com. I fixed this problem with info. from another posting. You push and hold the select button until demo comes on the screen, then release it and push the button that advances the cd. This will take you to the hour and minute screen. Turn the volume dial to set the time.

Your CD may not be music CD. Some car radio doesn't accept MP3 or WMV files. Change it to a good radio such as JVC car radio.

Jvc kd-sh55 head unit

Have you tried pressing the "RESET" button on the stereo? I have a JVC unit in my car and the reset button is a tiny hole behind the detachable face. Take a pencil or a pen and insert the end into the tiny hole an hold for a few seconds. This will reset the stereo and you should be able to eject the CD as you normally would. If it's a mini-disc (8mm) you probably would have to take the unit apart and manually retrieve it - big hassle. Check the owner's manual to find out where the "RESET" button is if it is not behind the face. If you don't have the owner's manual, you can download one from jvc.com.. Hope this helps.

you must force eject the cd by pressing the eject button and the power on/off/att button simultaneously and holding them. Just hold the 2 buttons at once and it should come out. http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/94/GET0246-001A.pdf look at page 2 in this users manual. Hope this helps!
