I tried everything also. I have a laptop. THIS ACTUALLY WORKED. As a last resort Logitech support suggested unplugging laptop and removing laptop battery for 10 minutes. Put battery back in, plug power back in. Mouse works great. I was very skeptical that this would work. But it did!!!!
Other than the obvious batteries going down, it could be 1) channel selector needs to be recycled ( receiver looking into wrong channel) 2) software is pointing toward traditional mouse ( wireless mouse got deselected) 3) mouse broke, very improbable.
Hi , i find a seperate mouse is alot better then using the mouse laptops have built in....it will help you out alot. Expecialy when you surfing the web or something , the onboard sometimes cause's you get erritated as its very sensitive, i would rather stick to a seperate mouse Hope this helps. Have a great Day
Most Logitech wireless mouse are just Plug-n-Play and it does not require any driver installation. All you have to do is to plug the wireless dongle to the computer and connect the mouse. Here's what you need to do:
1. Make sure that the batteries are fresh or fully charged. 2. Turn ON the mouse using the switch button. 3. Locate the connect button on the dongle (receiver) and then press it once. 4. Hold down the connect button underneath the mouse for 5 secs. and then release it. And the mouse should work.
If the mouse is not responding, then hold down the connect button on the dongle and on the mouse at the same time for 5 secs. and then release them both. Move the mouse around.
