Mouse problems when connected to projector

When my mac is connected to the Epson projector, programs open by themselves and the mouse moves across the screen without being touched. It even changed the desktop picture by itself!!

SOURCE: Desktop display moves all over the display when the mouse is used

I know you've already visited the Mouse options in Preferences, but did you check to see if the  "Zoom Using Scroll Wheel" box is checked? If it is, uncheck it.
Or on the keyboard, try pressing these three keys at the same time: Option / Apple (Command) / 8. That should do the same thing.
I hope that helps.

SOURCE: my mac screen and wallpaper moves every time I touch my mouse

I think what has been done is your grandchild has accidently magnified your screen slightly. To correct this hold down your ctrl key on your keyboard and move your finger on the mouse scroll button back. Hope this helps.

REMOTE for projector

Does the projector have the mouse features?

Have you connected the USB cable from the projector to the laptop so that the projector's mouse signals will reach the laptop?

Has the laptop recognised the projector as a Mouse Device and loaded drivers for it?

If the answer is No to any of these questions, then that's why the mouse feature does not work.

The mouse appears to be on but the pointer on the screen does not move. The keyboard is still working. The re-set button does not correct the problem. Re-booting the computer does not work.

The same thing happened to me today. Somehow, something uninstalled my setpoint mouse software?!?!
While I was actually using the mouse?!?!
(it just stopped moving all of a sudden)

Don't ask me how/why this happened but I fixed it by unplugging the MX1000--both power and usb connection, plugging in an old serial mouse, rebooting the computer, opening mouse properties, going to the Mouse settings (in Control Panel), clicking the Setpoint tab, telling it to look for an update to the Setpoint program, letting it download and install the program automatically, then unplugging the old serial mouse, plugging in the MX1000 (usb first, them Power) and Voila'! Working as it should once again, even without a reboot. :o)
I love this mouse--perfect size, fast, programmable, accurate, long battery life, Perfect!

Probem with connecting projector with laptop in vista OS

Hi,

You need to change your graphics card settings from extended desktop to cloned desktop.
You will find that if you use your mouse currently to drag a window or icon across to the projected screen, it will move the window there. This is the extended desktop.
I assume that what you want is to have the exact same screen on your laptop and your projector - this is called the clone screen.
These setting can be by right clicking your desktop, select properties. Click on the display settings tab. click on the advanced settings button, and the the graphics card tab. There should be another button to launch the graphics card settings there.

Hope this helps.

.the mouse moves randomly across

Hi,
If mouse is moving randomly across the screen then you may have to change the mouse or the mouse pad. If system freezes automatically that is your software problem. Please install a fresh copy of windows xp or vista whatever. Hopefully it should work . thank you.......
