First Option: mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems... just try the following.. connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)... found out whether it is charging or not... if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)... if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging IF Charging Problem not Solved So
Second Option: Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC And charging Problem will Solved Quickly
Slim chance, but if they were important to you, you could try this.
It won't try to recover photos from your phone because iPhone 5 is not supported yet, but you can try letting it recover them from the iTunes backup file even though they were not successfully backed up.
I don't think there are many or any other options, so depending on how important they are to you, you can try it.
Found this on macfixit website, might be helpful:-
If the iPhone is inoperable, try clearing freezes by pressing the "home" button for about 10 seconds. If this doesnt work, try turning it off and back on by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button until the red slider appears. To fully reset the device, press both of these buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Lastly, try restoring the iphone which will remove all personal data and clear any settings you may have applied which might be conflicting with the new software update. To do this, connect it to your computer and launch iTunes. Then select the phone and in the "Summary" tab select the "Restore" option. If you have not backed up your phone, be sure to select the option to do that, otherwise this option is not needed. After the restore has completed, you will need to activate the phone with iTunes (the phone should instruct you to do this), and then restore the phone's data and settings from your most recent backup.
