You should have an installation CD with Fuji software on it. After you've installed it there should be a program called FPVBridge in the FinePixViewer folder. Run this program and this will create a folder with todays date under Documents and will copy everything from the camera into this folder. I do not know how to copy individual pictures from the camera.

If you have a sd card then all you need to do is insert the card into a card reader slot on your pc. If you have no card slots you can buy a portable card reader (the sd card fits into one end and the other end fits into a USB port.) You can pick them up really cheap, I picked one up from a pound shop. It solves all the messing around with the software for the camera etc....

Will not upload to mac

To upload pictures to a PC or a MAC, you need to install the software that came with the camera. Only then the computer knows when the camera is connected and can start transferring pictures.
On the CD are also the drivers if your system needs one.
Most brands doe have the software on their site. For that goto the Support part of that site.

I have a dmc-tz1 camera and need to know how to upload pictures to my mac. I have i-photo. I do not have a manual. What icon do i need to turn my camera to to upload to mini mac?

When you plug the camera in and turn it on, (you may or may not have to go into review picture mode) it should appear on your desktop as a drive, usually called "no name". Just double-click on it and you can view the pics or drag and drop them to iPhoto. You could also buy a card reader and use it to download....it's faster and trouble-free.

I can't upload my pictures from my EX-Z29 camera onto my Mac.

Easiest way...buy an inexpensive card reader that fits your card and is Mac compatable. Create a folder on your desktop and name it. Plug your card into the reader and the other end into a USB port and an icon will appear on your desktop as "no name". Double-click it and your picture files will appear. Click " command a " to select them. Then press alt/option and click and drag them to the folder you named. Now, right-click the no name icon and choose eject to safely remove it.

How do you upload pictures to a Mac Computer? I cant seem to find the cord for it, so it is very difficult. Please help!

a cable would be the easiest, as well as the most convenient, but i guess you could always take your SD card out, take it to the store, get your photos onto a disc from there, then back to your mac to upload..

Cannot upload pictures from a cd

make sure this disk is not "hidden" or "protected" for this is meant to lock your photos on your cd for privacy purposes. you can do this by right clicking on your "cd" drive and click properties. uncheck the correct boxes.
if this does not work also try to copy and past them into another folder. and then move the folder to the mac.
however there is quite a difference in acceptable formatting between PC's and Mac's so you might need to download a simple and free picture formatting program.
go to download.com look up TransMac 8.3 and read about it there, it might be what you need

Upload pictures to computer

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.
