Need wire diagram from T-stat to Air-Handler then cond unit


green goes to g on air-handler,white goes to w on air-handler yellow goes to outside condensor, red from air-handler goes to rh-rc on thermostat, whire off c on air-handler goes to outside condensor.

WIRING THE THERMOSTAT TO AC UNIT THEN FROM THE UNIT TO HANDLER


Generally, you would go from the thermostat to the air handler, and then, from the air handler to the outdoor unit. I don't know if you have a heat pump or not, so I will give you a simple diagram and you can contact me if you need more.

Thermostat : Y G R W and sometimes C
Air handler: Y G R W and C
Outdoor unit: two wires connecting to the contactor ( not heat pump)

Thermostat; Y--------------Y(air handler cooling)------------------one side of contactor, outdoor unit
G-------------G (air handler, fan)
R--------------R (air handler ,hot)
W-------------W (air handler, heat)
C--------------C (air handler, common)------------other side of contactor, outdoor unit

How to wire condenser and air handler to the t-stat


Assuming this is a standard unit the thermostat connections you will use: Y, R, G, W and possibly C.

Run two conductor thermostat wire to the condenser. The condenser will have two wires to connect. Connect the two conductors to the condenser wires and run them in to the air handler.

At the air handler, connect the two condenser wires to: Y (yellow) and C

Run 4 or 5 conductor thermostat wire from the air handler to the thermostat. At the thermostat, connect the yellow wire to Y, the white wire to W, the green wire to g, and the red wire to r.

At the air handler, connect the thermostat wires: White to w1, yellow to Y, green to G, and red to R

*Y will now be connected to the thermostat and the condenser
*If you have 5 conductor wire to the thermostat, connect the last wire (which is probably blue) to C
At the air handler, connect the last wire (blue) to C. This will enable you to have 24 volts at the thermostat in case the thermostat actually requires 24 volts to operate it.

R=hot
G=fan
Y=cool
W=heat

How to adjust blowed speed on a rheem air handler


There are probably six wires coming out of your air handler blower motor. There are 2 brown wires which are capacitor wires, one white wire which is neutral, and probably red,black, and blue. Look behind the door of the air handler to see the wiring diagram. They should have the color coded speeds marked on the diagram. There is probably some sort of control board that the blower speed taps plug into. By changing these wires around on these taps you can adjust the speed of the blower motor.

I have a T3BA-036KA the outside unit will not


You need 24 volts going to the coil of the contactor. If you do not have 24 volts, you will need to trace the wiring back to see where you are losing it from. Try placing your voltmeter at C & Y coming from your air handler. If not, go to your air handler and test for 24 volts ac at C & Y coming from your thermostat. If you do not have 24 volts coming from your thermostat, there is either a problem with the thermostat or there is a problem with the wiring between the thermostat and the air handler. If you have 24 volts at the air handler coming from the thermostat but you do not have 24 volts at the outdoor unit coming from the air handler, then you have a problem with the wires between the air handler and the outdoor unit.

Fuse blowing on tappan air handler


most of the time its out by the ac unit . you have a shorting thermostat wire .. the outside unit has a large wire thats 240v and a small one that 24v thats the one you want to look at . look for bare wires , look where it goes into the wall , thats the common place . "critters" love to chew thermostat wire . so take a look . .....please rate this answer , i need votes . thanks

Wiring diagam for goodman heatpump and air handler to thermostate


On your t-stat you have Y, W1, W2, R, O, G, B or C or X. Y is your cooling circuit and will be the same in the air handler and heat pump unit, use the yellow wire for this circuit. W1 and W2 are your back up elec. or gas heat. Depending on how many kws or heat strips you have and t-stat wires you will put the white wire to W1 in both the t-stat and air handler. W2 is for your second stage back up heat if air handler calls for it, this will be a tan or brown or black t-stat wire and goes to W2 on t-stat and air handler. R is half of your 24v control power from the transformer and is the red wire and goes to the t-stat, air handler, and heat pump. O is for the reversing valve in the heat pump that switches it from heating and cooling. You guessed it the orange wire connect to t-stat and heat pump. G is for the blower and is the green wire to the t-stat and air handler. B or C or X is known as the common which is the other half of control circuit from 24v transform it is the blue wire and goes to the t-stat, air handler, and heat pump.
