DS Lite- Both screens show colored vertical lines......
Hi, I have a Nintendo DS thats never been dropped or anything to that effect. Slowly, the screens would start to flicker so I would have to open and close the DS to find a position where this wouldn't happen. Then one day, both screens gave out and now when I turn it on they both show vertical colored lines
However, the sound still works and when I press left/right/up/down, I can hear that the DS is actually working
I know a fair amount about electronics and the DS is already assembled, I just dont exactly know what the problem is.

screen that slowly fade away after turning off the system, this
