Question about Amana 24 in. ADB2200AWS Built-in Dishwasher
I have taken it apart down to the impeller. there didn't seem to be anything cloged all the way up to the upper spray bar. ran it while empty on rinse cycle, opened the door, water was dripping from the top, lots of water. the lower bar is spinning, the middle and upper bar are not. the path way from the impeller up to the upper bar is totally clear. there is lots of water in the bottom while this test is being done. can't figure it out. please help. thank you ivan

you may have blockage in the drain pipe several feet from washer. if you can run spin cycle with hose in different location ex. tub, sink or outdoors. if this works run long snake down washer drain pipe to clean gypsum residual.

SOURCE: water in my washing machine
it sounds like you have a leaking water valve, you will have to replace the mixing valve, For now turn the water off at the wall suppling water to the machine. When you want to use the washer turn on water, when its done with the cycle turn the water off.
Note: unplugging the machine will not stop the water from running

SOURCE: Washer hums on rinse cycle
It sounds as if you are using WARM water for the wash cycle since your complaint begins with the rinse cycle. The rinse cycle generally uses COLD water, so I must deduce that your washer is not filling up for the rinse cycle. The humming sound is likely coming from the fill valve being starved for cold water.
Investigate your cold water supply to the washer and if you have good supply, you may want to replace the fill valve.

SOURCE: won't drain or spin
Sounds like the lid switch which is only about 30.00 to fix if you do it yourself. It's a little difficult but it's much better than replacing or having someone come in and do it

A few weeks ago I ran into the same problem, virtually no suction. First I replaced the bad belt (make sure you fit it right or it'll destroy the belt, luckily I bought 2!) and while the vacuum sounded more "alive" it didn't seem to pick up anything any better. The final solution was taking apart the entire intake port section down to the motor and getting the collection tube. It was filled with junk all the way up. I spent over an hour clearing out gunk and animal fur throughout the tubing. Putting it back together was a cinche because the entire vacuum uses one screw type universally. The whole process was pretty intuitive and its clear it's meant to be taken apart for just this purpose.
