SOURCE: i need a heating element

Hi rbandbb,

I see you need the heat controller for your Villaware Skillet.

check here in the website and select your location where it will give you options on where and how to buy what you need, you can also contact them for further details if ever a reseller for parts are around your area.

I checked the site itself all you need would be there or you can call them as well for proper info regarding what you need to avoid making a mistake with your order.

I believe this should help.

Thank you for choosing Fixya,

Where do i find a power cord for a 16

Villaware offers a few parts for their products from their USA website. Unfortunately they are not offering any parts for their electric skillet.

Recommend you contact Villaware via their web inquiry form for advice on obtaining a replacement power cord.

I'm looking for one skillet power control for Rena Ware fry electric pan Cat. 17530

Rena Ware Electric Skillets use the same control as West Bend WB-1 . The back of the Rena Ware Control does say WB-1. Mine is 1500 watt.
You can find the WB-1 eBay for various prices. A generic heat control will probably work as well if it is the same wattage. I have a Saladmaster control that also works for this skillet.1_26_2012_12_42_14_am.jpg

Power cord for hoover electric skillet

Hello: We just had one of those exact heat controls and sold it in our ebay store, I can send you some photos to compare the controls. That specific heat control model is very hard to find and normally you do not see them, I have not found them anywhere else.

We have a cookware store on ebay for the last 5 years and carry some replacement parts for the vintage appliances - you can email me through the ebay store - our ebay store ID is bestcookwareforless! (with the exclamation point at the end) or email me at jasmine@bestcookwareforless.com and I will add you to my customer wanted items list. We get excellent pre-owned used heat controls in all the time and are more than happy to help our customers locate a specific one.

All is not lost, so don't throw out your favorite Hoover skillet - they are built like a tank, made to last and very hard to find nowdays. Keep her and get her a new heat control and she will last another 50 years (smile).

Hope we can help you!

Kindest Regards, Jasmine

Non stick

Hey there,

Do not use your silverware with non stick surfaces, as it might very easily destroy them. Nowadays you can find about every kind of silverware made from silicone, which is safe for your non stick.

Have fun cooking!
