If you turn the monitor off then about 1020 sec turn it back on and have
a picture for five sec again it sound like the power supply in the
monitor. but if that did not solve the problem, the
picture board on your monitor is bad, since it goes off after few
seconds and the power led or button is on, it means the
board of your monitor has developed fault and will need to be replace.
advice you replace the picture board on the screen of your monitor to
solve the problem of the blank screen.
Try to do this: Just before the Windows start up screen (after the bios loading) press F8 and log in at safe mode settings. If at this mode you can see your screen change the resolution settings at a lower set. Save and reboot normally. Now try step by step to increase your resolution. In case of a blank screen appears at a new setting, don't do anything; after some seconds the monitor will come back to the previous settings. Save and go on.

yetimonsta, Are you sure that the monitor is BLANK?? Or is it just BLACK? Or is it both BLANK and BLACK? Connect a known good monitor to your pc to prove that your pc is working correctly. What does your L90D+ do when connected to good pc. Have you done the flashlight test to evaluate the state of the "switch-mode-power-supply" when lcd panel goes black /blank?? Ive seen this on other monitors. Look for a 1 and 2. Some monitors do NOT auto detect a signal, and this one might not. Look for a way to set the monitor from Digital input to VGA input. Try that and see.
I would say don't turn off the monitor at the switch at all unless you are not going to use it for a long time. I just leave mine switched on and the power save blanks the screen if I am away from it for 20 minutes. I leave my PC switched on all the time as well. If I need to use it for any reason it takes ages for it to start up fully so it's more convenient to just leave it all going so it's ready when I need it. If away from the PC for a day or more switch it off but I keep going back to it all day and night so it's easier for me to leave both on all the time.
Hi , The monitor flicker problem. The monitor when turn on will display image for couple of second then turn black. The monitor status led is still green. This will happen each time it is turn on. The symptom at appear to come from the inverter board.
