Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Problem with transfering photos and videos to my Sandisk Sansa e26 and uploading music...HELP!

Everyone - install quicktime to get the right codecs to fix the video conversion issue

everyone else:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
-----
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

SOURCE: Transfer videos to my sony nwz-s616f

Firstly; is it in the right format? You say MP4, but the video needs to be specifically MP4 - 320x240 screen resolution. It won't play if the resolution is incorrect.

So get that fixed up first if that's what's wrong (http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/ has a great program to convert videos to MP4). If not, sometimes my computer doesn't allow me to put files on it one way, but it will another, so try copy/paste instead of drop and drag. Hope that helps.

Why can't I access any of the files on my WD Elements external hard drive?

If you have not reinstalled a new OS the drive should be seen after starting your unit.

Disconnect the USB drive and reboot your unit.

After the unit comes up, plug in the drive.

If the drive is new to the system, it will locate and load drivers.

Afterwards it should give the opium to view files.
It should also be seen in your device manager, under disk drive.

You should be able to go to prosperity's and see sharing opium's ect. ( Security ) Try to make your changes here

Wd my passport retrieve data

Step 1:
You might not have the appropriate software installed on your computer to show / read the files
IE: adobe flash , directx , win zip , codec , word ...... Determine if access is denied by a sharing violation because the folder and its files are in use by someone else or the computer itself. Wait several minutes, and then attempt to access the folder again. Go to the location where the file or its folder are stored on your computer. Lock files are hidden files in Microsoft Windows. Select "Show hidden files." The lock files for Windows applications have a ~ symbol in front of the file name. For example, for test.txt, the lock file is named ~test.txt. In UNIX, the lock file may be identified by an extension of .lock or .swp within in the file name. Delete the lock file. The locked file or folder unlocks. Reboot your computer, and bring it up in Safe Mode. This prevents the startup of many of the system services and programs that could be locking the files or folders. Attempt to access the folder location and its contents. If the folder is available, save the folder or its contents in a directory to which you have access. Record the active processes running on the computer and the programs available in Safe Mode. Then, log into the computer after a normal boot up. Review the applications running in the background in normal setup. One of these applications may be preventing access to the file folder and its contents. If there are applications that run in normal mode that do not run in Safe Mode, turn off those applications. Then, try to access the file folder again. b> Are the Security Permissions for the Folder or Its Contents Preventing Access? b> Check the file folder permissions by right-clicking on the folder and selecting "Properties." In the "Properties" dialog box, select the "Security" tab. The "Name" list box includes the user and group permissions. If there is no "read," "read and execute," or "write" permissions in your user profile, you do not have permission to view the file folder or its contents. These security permissions are typically set by system administrators. System administrators may be trying to prevent end users from altering system files that are critical to the computer running smoothly. Contact your system administrator, and request local administrative rights to the computer. This allows you to gain access to the files and folders that are restricted to administrators. Edit the system policies using administrative tools via the gpedit.msc program. Users can add, read and modify permissions for folders and other objects via this program. Full control is the best system policy, because it includes read, write, execute and modify rights. However, access to the gpedit.msc program may be restricted, as well. Go to the command line (press on the "Windows" and the "R" keys on your keyboard at the same time), and enter the CACLS command for the folder name. Use the command format: C:\> cacls <foldername> /E /G <username>:F CALCS stands for Change the Access Control ListS. This command allows you to add your user name to the security settings to permit access to the protected system folder when the gpedit.msc program is not available.

Not able to open my mail account

Hi Satish

YAHOO MAIL ACCESS PROBLEM

When you set up an e-mail account with free public e-mail services such as Google Mail, Hotmail/Live or Yahoo! Mail, you are invited during the setup procedure to enter an Alternat(iv)e E-Mail Address. The purpose of this is to provide an address to which the Support Team of the E-mail Service Provider can send a link or code (or both) to enable users who have forgotten their passwords to reset their passwords.

Go to the Log In/Sign In page of the e-mail account you are having problems with and click on "Forgotten Password". Enter your alternative e-mail address and then submit a Password reset request. You may also be asked some security questions in order to verify you as the account holder. Once you have accessed and opened the Yahoo e-mail sent to the alternative e-mail address, click on the link inside and you will be allowed to reset your password.

To avoid mistyped password errors, this time, before you enter the new password, type it into a text or e-mail and then copy and paste that into the password box before submitting it. Send the text or e-mail containing the password to yourself or to your other, functioning e-mail address and save this e-mail in a discreet folder on your cellphone.

Unfortunately if, for any reason, you are unable to access the alternative e-mail address or accurately answer all the security questions, then you will never be allowed access that account again, unless you can remember and enter the correct Username, Password and Security Question.

In that event, however, there is nothing to stop you opening another Yahoo! Mail account. Only the Username/E-Mail Address will have to be different.

I hope this helps.

No space error

This is due to the file transfer limitations bound by the file format FAT32 (no files larger than 4GB and no folders that contain more than 1000 files). Try formatting the drive to NTFS.
