There is a fuse inside a UK plug or within the metal case of the PSU. A fuse looks like a glass tube with a silver cap on either end.

I have a Samsung PN51E530A3FZXA 51" plasma TV. I heard a pop & saw smoke from left rear of TV. TV went black & had no picture or sound, however the red power light stayed on.

Unfortunately plasma tvs are a lot more complex to service, instead of 2 or 3 boards there are a half dozen at least. I would guess when the main PS board went out it took some other boards with it. I don't have a manual for your set but I would look at the power supply sub boards, there generally are 2 of them, or on some models that is parts of the other boards. Generally there is a legend to see what voltages are supposed to be present at what places, samsung is good about making the test points on the boards. Also there are fuses on most the other boards and its possible one of those has blow, it won't be a typical fuse like your used to seeing, some are a small green component and some are white mini fuses...Good luck!

Give a visual instruction on how to change a fuse on a 1997 lexux

#1 Rule Never buy a car that doesn't have a owners manual.
Lexus is made by toyota and the fuse locations are usually in the same general locations.
No direct information on lexus.

Locating fuse in bernina activa 220

Generally, there is no fuse issue. The problem will be a failed power supply (L-PCB). Suggest that you visit your Bernina dealer and get a new circuit. THe cost will be about $150.00.

No display when powered on.

If the VCR is of later manufacturing, it may contain a switched-mode power supply and these often fail due to cheap capacitors in the feedback path of the supply.Locating the failed parts is often not possible by just visually looking at them but these are measured for capacitance value (it varies by as much as +- 50%) and more importantly, DF or Dissipation Factor which is a measure of their losses. This instrument may not be in each technician's tool kit.
Also on fuses; if one dies due to metal fatigue, it may not show any sign of 'blowing' but have only a very tiny break in the fuse element. These can be checked for continuity with any multimeter.

Sansui mdl hdllcd3210 will not turn on.

Did power signal lights appear? If there's no power signal lights, check the fuse, located at the power supply. If the fuse is good, maybe the power supply is dead. There's a leak capacitor in the power supply.Try to replace all the leak capacitor..The leak capacitor can identify through visual checking when you didn't know how to use tester. The leak capacitor is rounded top shape and have moise at the top, compare to flated shape of good capacitor. Thanks, hope will it help you..

Do orion sub have fuses?

No, subwoofers are not fused, however, amps are. If you're having a power supply issue you might check the fuse located on the amp itself, or any inline fuses that may be installed on the wire powering your amp. Inline fuses are generally mounted right next, or sometimes, attached directly to the car battery.

It's completely dead?? Not sure what happened. Power supply is fine.

Microwaves that suddenly loose power could have many causes with the easiest being a blown fuse inside the cabinet of the oven. To check for this unplug the unit and remove the screws that hold the cabinet in place. Be sure to not touch any of the electrical components inside to avoid shock. Visually follow the path the power cord takes as it enters the unit. The fuse ( usually clear glass with metal ends and cylindrical in shape ) should be located not far from where it enters the cabinet. Once located use a fuse puller or other means to carefully remove the fuse to check the element inside. If the fuse is blown take it to a hardware or electronics store for replacement. These fuses are cheap as this has happened to me before. Good luck!

Photocopier fuses hi my name is redha i would to have a definition of fuse in the photocopier in general the location and tha function ASAP Please Thanks

Redha,
Fuses are located on the power supply and some control boards.
In general fuses are used for circut protection when the load exceeds what the circut is capable of handling the fuse will blow to hopefully protect the circut and the board. This is a very broad definition.
Hope this helps

Orion 1934 19 " tv

Hello anglersquest,

It is usually located near the power supply section. unplug the TV, open the back of the TV and look for a small glass cylinder with two metallic ends. This will be the fuse, now to check it do a visual inspection and you should see a clear cylinder with no internal dark smuges (good) has smudges (bad). Then if you have an ohmmeter set it to the 1xR setting and measure the fuse ends it should read 0 ohms if the fuse is good and no reading if the fuse is bad.

I hope this helps

Thank you,

Shuttle83
