Did this just happen, was it running the correct direction before?

Tell me more about what you have here, and we will figure it out, sounds like a special motor that is made by the OEM and may or may not be available new,

I need more details and if it is special and has a good piece of equipment down, you can always mail it to me and I can see if I can reverse it or what the problem is

Where can I find Cooks meat slicer FS-9001A Motor replacement part? Not sure if semiconductor is the same thing? I've searched the web and can't find anything on the parts.

transistors and diodes are often referred to as semi conductors and are used in power boards and circuit boards
possible that the capacitor or condenser is the problem and is used to start/ run the motor
clarify exactly what it is that is faulty by taking the unit in to an appliance repair shop and have the problem diagnosed and proceed from there

Rival slicer model #65301, sparks when I slice meat, need a new motor ?

possibly not as sparks can be from low brush length or the armature needs a clean up
all brushed motors spark when they run and normally it is a small blue spark the full length of the brush and contained under the brush
If it is a harsh arc like spark then the motor should be looked at by an appliance repair shop

How dou you connect the electical wires I connected them and it throws the breaker

Look at rating plate on motor.
Look for volts, watts, amps.
Figure with Volts x Amps = Watts.
Amps = Watts divided by Volts
1 hp horsepower is 756 Watts.

Lets say you have 120Volt 2hp motor
So 2 horsepower motor draws 1500 Watts
Amps = 1500 Watts divided by 120Volts = 12.5 amps = so you need 120Volt 15 amp breaker with at least 14gauge wire (as long as motor is located within 50 feet of breaker.)
If motor is farther away, then you need 20 amp breaker with 12gauge wire.

Look at circuit breaker rating.
If motor is 240 and breaker is 120, then it will trip breaker.
If motor is 120 and breaker is 240, then it will trip breaker.
If breaker is for 15 amps and motor draws 20 amps then it will trip breaker.

Generally speaking, if motor and breaker are 120V, then black wire goes to black wire; white wire goes to white wire and green wire connects to bare copper wire.
If motor and breaker are 240V, then wire colors can be different. Black-red or Black-white from breaker connect to Black-red or Black-white at motor.

Add a comment. Say the motor rating and color of motor wires. Say the breaker size and color of wires coming from breaker and I will help you wire the device.

Slicer 827a roaring noise

This can be due to the motor bearings/bushes that have worn out and is slightly having the gap within,
When the load comes on the motor must be firmly moving on the main shaft without a fraction of a gap.
To confirm use some light oil into the motor shaft where the bearing/bushes are and try out. If so you might have replace them to fit well , get help from a machine tool shop.
If the mtor seems perfectly alright then the mechanism of the cutting blades, the moving parts here- one of them - can be the suspect. Take carre to check when the power is on.

Can't get the blade to stay on track

There is an adjustment you can make to the top guide wheel to make the blade stay on track. There is a screw with a lock nut just beneath the main bearing for the top wheel that is used to "tilt" that wheel to allow the blade to stay where it is suppose to. This needs adjustment periodically due to normal wear in the bearings or maybe due to a blade which is made a little different than the last one that was on there. Loosen the lock nut, then turn the adjusting screw to tilt the wheel in the direction needed to keep the blade on. Not much adjustment is usually needed. After turning the screw, jog the motor on briefly (with the blade on) and check how it runs. Keep adjusting until you get it running true. Lock the nut and you should be good.
Good Luck. Be Careful while jogging the motor to check the runout, as you will need to do this with the guards out of place.

Fiber gear on blade hub stripped. deep socket required to remove hub. DON'T CUT YOURSELF!! remove motor, used food safe solvent to clean grease out of housing. Fiber gear held on with snap ring. Replace gear, repack housing, put hub and motor back and start slicing. Routinely check to make sure gear is lubed.
