Both water heaters keeps cold, Button blinking

Hello, I've to problems with my Nespresso Lattissima. The Problem: Both heaters (the one for coffee and the one for milk/steam) are cold [What I tried] Both temperature sensors were dead, so I changed them. Moreover the thermostat (318°) on the milk heater was dead too. Replaced all 3 pieces but nothing happened. [Measurements] ==Heater (for hot coffee water)=== Resistance (between the both ends where the 2 cables come in): 42 Ohm. Voltage: constant about 170V AC ===Heater for milk:=== Resistance: 52 Ohm Voltage: constant around 0 V AC Does anyone have a hint where to start troubleshooting? Thanks!

Cappuccino and latte macchiato buttons blinking

The unit is heating the steam - the lights should switch to contant once the right temperature is reached. Make sure to always descale the machine if the cappuccino button light turns orange.

I have a Nespresso Lattisima and all four lights are blinking four times in quick succession and nothing is working. I've tried emptying it out and it's done that, but still the same problem.

Your machine has almost certainly entered the water quality mode. (Water hardness setting). This is very easy to fix. Switch machine off. Before switching back on press and hold any off the following buttons: Latte Macchaito (top right) for soft water, Cappuccino (bottom right) for medium water or finally both of them for hard water. While holding the correct buttons switch the machine back on BUT hold for approx. 10 seconds or until all lights stop flashing, (APART FROM THE BUTTON YOUR HOLDING). This will reset the machine and you're good to go. Regards Coffee Engineer!

Water button orange light appear even after descaling

I had the same problem too.
Do repeat the descaling with water only. After the descaling the Lattissima shuts down. Just wait some time after shutdown before restarting the Lattissima again. The orange light will be turned off.
Hope this helps you too!

I cannot get my Nespresso Lattissima to clean out milk when clean button is pressed, nothing happens. Can you help me?

Have to pull out the entire container and push it back into the unit so it fully connects with the machine. Then try again.

Coffee tastes very acidic

Hi kdimof,
I realize you posted this problem over a year ago, but I was curious to see if you were ever able to resolve this problem, or find the exact cause.
I have the same issue you describe. I descaled my Lattissima for the first time using the Nespresso descaling solution. And now, two months later, I cannot remove the chemical smell/taste of the descaling solution. I've run numerous descaling cycles with just water (as per Nespresso's customer service advice), with no success. I was forced to accept a refurbished machine (even though my Lattissima was only 3 months old). The refurbished machine is currently on the way. We'll see if I have the same issue when I descale this one.
Thanks, Redfran
